After much though and reflection, I am proud to announce that I will be running for re-election to the RSU 38 School Board of Directors.
During the last two years I have strived to be a relay for information to our community about what is happening in our schools.
I will always do my best for the students of our district and I ask for your vote this June.

Citizen of the School Board
Strategic Planning Committee
I'm Leslie Marco and I'm running for a 3-year term on the RSU38 School Board in a seat designated for a Mount Vernon resident.
I am a Maranacook Community School graduate of the class of 1997. I grew up in Manchester and returned to the community 10 years ago with my husband and three young boys now in middle school and elementary school. I have a degree in Communication and celebrate 18 years of service at L.L.Bean this fall.
I am interested in serving on the school board as an engaged community member looking to provide all children a voice and opportunity to access and achieve success in education and our community.
This requires a board committed to being transparent, informed, and willing to ask difficult questions that balance financial and educational responsibilities. The best decisions come from varied perspectives and creative exploration of ideas bounced against processes built by integrity.
I have been participating in school board and committee meetings for some time now and would love to have more people join me! I am currently a citizen serving on the Strategic Planning Committee renewing a plan for our schools for the next 5 years.
If my approach and goals are something you can support, I'd be thankful for your VOTE on June 13th.
