ROBERT’S RULES
• In Making a Motion
1. Chair asks for a Motion
2. Motion is made and seconded
3. Discussion
4. Vote to accept Motion by show of hands
5. PASS or FAIL
• Discussion is Led in an orderly manner
1. The Chair defines the Agenda prior to the meeting.
2. The Agenda is followed in the order it is printed
3. Chair Identifies the first topic on the agenda.
4. Hands Raised to Speak on a topic
5. Chair Acknowledges Speaker
6. Speaker is allowed 2 minutes and must stay on topic
7. Next Speaker with hand raised is called on my Chair
8. When all have had a chance to speak, Chair will identify the next topic on the agenda.
