Meet Clyde Dyar

When Clyde was the President of the CPC, they received a $500 grant from the Mount Vernon Masonic Lodge to start the Minnehonk Drainage Project. Lee Dunn and Family were a huge help with this effort. Matt Dunn also contributed money for this project. This project focused on taking the sand out of Minnehonk Lake.

Started two Atlantic Salmon hatcheries when I was with the Economic Development Administration.

Clyde has a wealth of experience from many diverse projects and is anxious to put his knowledge to work for the town once again.

Clyde knows how to bring the town together to improve life for its residents.

As your Selectman, I will focus on the following issue:
  • Roads and Bridge Issues
  • Improve Infrastructure of the Village Area
  • Establish a New Town Charter
  • Establish a Small Senior Housing Unit
  • Work with Businesses and Residents to Make Mount Vernon Better
  • Employ my expertise to help improve infrastructure
  • Clean up the streams coming into Lake Minnehonk

Meet Ona Fast

Hello, My name is Ona Fast and I am running for town Select Board.

I have lived in Mount Vernon for 6 years but have lived in Maine for over 60 years. I grew up in Rome, Maine. Though I have traveled to many interesting places, I have always called Maine my home.

I can and I will apply a thoughtful type of leadership based on community focused issues while trying to keep our rural living protected from the types of progress pushing to invade.

You, the community members, deserve to have a voice and a representation at our municipal level.

Vote for me and let's being a new journey here in this lovely town of lakes, rolling hills and dancing streams!

As a Selectman, I will provide leadership based on community focused issues
